Marion I. Redline, 98, of Slatington, passed away on Feb. 21, 2024, in the ICU of the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.

Born on Dec. 27, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Anna (Hausman) Blose.

She attended the former Slatington High School.

Marion started work at Paris Neckwear and Keystone Lamp Factory, then got a job at General Electric, where she worked for 17 years.

She graduated from the Allentown School of Cosmetolgy in 1960 and opened her beauty salon where she worked until she was 90.

Surviving are a son, Gary Redline of Slatington; a daughter, Linda Rex of Schnecksville; two grandsons, Daniel and Kenneth Redline, along with five great-grandchildren, all in California.

She was also predeceased by her husband, Ernest, who died in 2010; a grandson, Kurtis Rex, who passed away in 2007; and a brother, Harold Blose, who died in 2001.

Service: A private viewing for family members will be held and a graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, Slatedale Cemetery, 8648 Brown St., Slatington, with the Rev. James W. LeVan officiating. Arrangements by Kevin E. Hunsicker Funeral Home, Slatedale.
